Did they happen to have a Professor of Redundant Tautology on staff?

No, but I believe they're currently looking for a Professor of Pathological Pedantry; I think I know a guy.

Again.

During an all-nighter back in 1997, three of my colleagues and I crawled out of a book elevator after being stuck between floors in an otherwise quiet building for as long as it takes to conclude that prying the doors open and climbing out of the elevator Speed-style - but with no Keanu Reeves - is the best course of action. The heap of over-caffeinated morons comes to rest on the first floor of the College of Education...directly in the path of two of my professors and the dean of the college. Dr. D. holds up a finger to interrupt the dean, interjects with "Don't worry about it...they're mine," and they keep walking and talking like nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

If I can embarrass him slightly less than I did that day, we should be good.

Anyway, I should have some time to get some smaller things done around here, but projects like the status icons will probably wait until the end of the week.
Don't worry "your" going to do grate!

What is the PM Outbox and why is my outbound message sitting it? Thanks in advance.

Slak: The way it was explained to me was the PM stays in your outbox until it is opened by the one it was sent to. I could be wrong but I think that is how it works? Sounds counter-intuitive to me. Don't quote me though...

I started another thread for this in the help section, but now realize I should have posted it here...

I'm sure you have 100 things on your to-do list. Can you make 101 change the default posts per page to something more than 7 or 8 or whatever it is now? Or make it user selectable if phpBB allows?

Since the earliest iterations of 996's are coming up 20 years of age, it may be useful to have a section dedicated to tips and videos on restoration etc. It could be a repository for easy fixes all the way to those needing professional work. To make it easier for users, allow people to acknowledge work of the shops that they used. While this can give rise to conflicts, some of those places can be advertisers here.

Good idea. It's hard to think of these cars as "classics" already, but the 996 is included in the Porsche Classics official program.
