A better question would have been: "Is it safe to open...?"

When the museum's ebay lady gave me the package with the TV mount in it, I initially sent it back to her saying "WTF?" But she explained that lots of the car guys have smaller TVs mounted in their garage. So, I'm like "Yeah, I guess that makes sense that you don't want a 60" big screen in the garage."
Of course, TVs have gotten so much lighter over the past few years, that I think a new 70" TV weighs less than a 43" TV of just 7 or 8 years ago. I suspect that as long as the holes line up (no, not talking about the human centipede, Schnelly), you could probably mount a pretty big TV with that mounting kit.
Anyhow, enjoy. If the t-shirt doesn't fit, let me know and I'll bring you out a different size when I'm out there in a couple of weeks.
