loved the Old Toronado stuff - cool car
consider this
you'd have to have a Texaco doodle bug follow you around, just adds to the cool factor

around 1983 or so I bought a 4 door '66 Olds '88 - it was parked on side street in Las Vegas just off Sahara
no idea what compelled me to buy it - original owner, brown vinyl beige roof / Int, over a soft yellow paint
4 door car - just immaculate and it had a brand new motor - it was a grandfathers car
for a paltry $600 - it was nearly concours and perfect for airport runs
I was operating a nearly indestructible 280ZX att and this was a welcome addition
roommate at the time traveled a lot - he was in town for about a week at a time
every single option worked - the A/C would keep beer cold and it had all the reliability of an old GM car
we drove that car all over the southwest - up north to San Francisco, Reno, Lake Tahoe
- even shocked the upper class on Rodayo Drive by parking it on the streets
this may have been around the time of the '84 Summer Olympic
- so funny, people were just aghast that we'd desecrate BH with that thing
