Why don't you just replace the stud, or are you going for a 2 birds 1 stone kinda deal and do the wheel bearing while you are there?

It is almost impossible on the Honda. Google it if you want to learn about it. The basics is that due to the wheel hub design you cannot insert the stud into the existing hub as the hub is curved and there is no space. So you have to grind the half of the stud's head and then try to pound it in.

If I could just bang the stud out and stick the new one in, I would have been done yesterday.

This is a guy with far more tools and skills than me doing it.

Miata front hubs are the same. It's a 20 minute job to take the brake caliper off, remove the rotor, and (so long as you have a long enough breaker bar and/or pipe to remove the nut holding it on) swap out the old hub and slide a new one on.

I mean anything to do with taxes sucks, but why the special mention?

Not to mention, he gets paid with tax money to collect taxes from other people and fine other people that don't pay their taxes.

It's KC. It's best not to ask questions.

He was probably trying to be funny or something and we all know how good he is at humor...
