I also drive WITHOUT my compact spare most of the time. Unless I'm meeting Kalashnikov in Vegas. I'm not saying he's bad luck, but I think I'd be safer out hunting with Dick Cheney and Stevie Wonder.

You people are amateurs!

We only use Mobile1.
We have no garage.
We have no driveway.
Waxing is a once a decade thing.
Oil change intervals are suggestions, not gospel.
Dogs have ridden in the car.
It gets driven in sub-freezing temps.
Treating the leather is on a two decade cycle.
Washing is maybe yearly. Mostly when it's been forgotten when it was last washed.
It gets driven in the rain.
It gets driven in the snow.
Being gentle until it's warmed up is a new thing.
The 6yr/60k service was a 12th birthday gift.
It's "normal" commute is 12 miles.
No magnetic drain plug.
No special filter.
Couldn't tell you if the spring in the filter housing has ever been replaced.
It has no idea what a battery tender is.

99% of the world's cars live on like that, and do just fine ^^.

My Acura has been on Walmart maintenance plan for the last three years, as in...ALL of the service items have been procured at Walmart. And the car is doing great. 5,000 mile oil changes with 5w20 Supertech Synthetic oil + Fram's best filter= $27. Coolant= $6.99/gallon.

JI cursed you forever. He has a little voodoo doll of your car, he pokes it occasionally when he thinks of all the pain you brought him.

He should write a book about it. Nobody will read it, but I'm sure it will be cathartic.

I miss getting Johnny wound up. Crapping on his "Porsche fashions" thread was a high point for my "online bully" persona.

Man, I wished he would have showed up to the RR. Having two of you duke it out on the carting track would have been hilarious. I have the man's phone #.

We all know I don't have nearly the karting skills he does. Also, I'm much fatter.

Yeah, but he is MUCH older than you are. By the time the eyes tell the brain to turn and the brain tells the hands the same info he's in the tire wall!

He may be old, but his wrist is tastefully appointed by one of the finest shops in Caracas...unless he had to sell the last few watches to fund his "buy and dump" 996 habit.
