5chn3ll wrote: Thu Sep 17, 2020 8:13 am Lifted this photo from the 996 owners group on FB.

The driver was T-boned by an uninsured driver going 2x the speed limit and wound up with 4 broken ribs, broken pelvis, and some non-life-threatening internal bruising/injury.

It's pretty remarkable how much energy the 996 soaked up. Sucks the dude got hurt, but he's posting photos from his hospital bed and not from the bottom of a hole, so he's got that going for him.

Son of a Bitch! I would still be doing crappy flops on the road. That had to HURT! That appears to be quite a shot...but gnat is right that will buff right out.
Wonder if those rims are for sale.

Get him in touch with Cuda! He should be able to help him translate that into a 992 TTS before he is released from the hospital.

Damn that really soaked up a ton of energy without failing. I'm calling BS on the guy posting from the bottom of the hole, though.

"Hey guys look at this bad 996 wreck - guy died."

"Doesn't look too bad, how do you know the guy died?"

"I'm guy."

Here is a Russian joke for you.

Translation:

-My grandpa lived to 105, until his death with every meal he ate caviar and drank expensive French cogniac. Five times a week he would eat a 1lb steak and wash it down with a bottle of aged Italian red wine. Once a week he would ask us to order him two prostitutes and four lines of cocaine.

- So what did he die from?

- We killed him. It was becoming impossible to financially support his lifestyle.

Dude. I bought my Jag when I was 22 and the wife's 996 when I was 25. At 46 I figure I'm getting close to being on borrowed time
