You are a long way from home? Does your wife know?
Since she and the kids are with me, I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.

Time on this trip is unfortunately limited so I didn't get to reach and see if Groovy meet :(

Ah-Ha...I was writing it off to jet lag. You never know what might get sneaked into your drink in Seattle! You weren't in the Capitol Hill area or perhaps Fremont...right?

Queen Anne Beerhall or something like that. Nice place, unless you're a veggie... Seeing friends I haven't seen in close to 10 years makes it a good day.

Yeah from what I have heard mostly necked guys so it would be a definite pass for me!

The daughter lived there for a few years and the wife's brother and family has been there forever. Nice place, but expensive.

Good that you are refreshing friendships. Enjoy!

I found out that I was the winner of this month's 996 Outpost drawing for free stuff from the Kansas City Automotive Museum. :) The goodies were delivered to this morning's PCA breakfast courtesy of Jeff Wagoner - aka Frunkenstein - and we had a very brief presentation wherein I tore the wrapping off the box and showed off the items: Model cars, a book about the Porsche 918, and some awesome poster advertising from Porsche - vintage stuff.

Given this sudden winning streak, I'm buying a Lotto ticket tonight. Maybe snag that 918 :P

THANKS again to 996 Outpost. :geek:

Congrats Kevin! And good luck to everybody in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing what the auto museum's eBay sales lady puts together for next month's contest!
