Thunderbirds flyover in ~25 mins.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

They're lost. Somebody needs to tell them San Diego is a Navy town.

That was pretty cool...they flew right overhead, circled El Cajon, and headed up the coast.

The T-Birds are cool. I prefer the Angels personally!

First time I saw them was at Offutt A.B. Yes, I know Air Force Base but they were there for some anniversary. They got me on the sneak pass and the dude was on the deck. I've seen them numerous times since and they haven't gotten me twice! The above pic was when they were in Lincoln a few year back. The sound is as amazing as the visuals.

First time I saw the T-Birds was at USAFA when my brother graduated in 1968. We were on the raised area by the chapel and when the high speed pass guy came in from the east across the parade grounds I swear he was below the top of the wall! Of course he pulled up before he got to our vantage point. I about soiled myself!

They are very cool, too.

I am a fan of both flight demonstration teams.

The only time I wasn't a fan of the Blues was in flight school in P-cola when I would get stuck behind them for takeoff, then you had to wait for an hour while they practiced their show. But it was cool to watch.

Back when Mrs. S. and I had been married for just a few years, we lived in an apartment in Mira Mesa - which is one exit away from Miramar. We could watch the Blue Angels rehearse for the Miramar air show from the pool...it was pretty epic.
