Here are some photos from my 10-day Naval career...
So curious...did they send you home because you couldn't stop projectile vomiting or because you were taking pics of top secret stuff?

Alleged true story: a guy who worked for me was in the Air Force and ended up on a refueling tanker. One day they were refueling an SR71 and he took some pics out the back of his plane of the SR71. He said it was neat because the tanker was balls to the wall and the SR was about to fall out of the sky. A couple of days later he heard a knock at his door and found two guys in black suits who asked for the camera and any film he had. When he gave the requested items to them one of the dudes said "That won't happen again...right?" Might have been more but that's all he would reveal.

Have I told you guys lately...I HATE WINTER! Low of 17f last night with a skiff of snow. High today predicted to be 23f and low tonight either 7f or 3f depends on who you want to believe. These temperature are actual none of that fake "feels like" crap. I know this is only a precursor of what is to come, but I hate the weather until April around here. If it wasn't for the wife, the kids and the grand kids I would be baking my arse year round on a white sand beach while staring at the Caribbean Sea!

Now all you guys who want to whine about how it was "only 68f here this morning" go ahead...

Tiger cruise from Pearl back to San Diego - my Chief buddy's last cruise prior to his 20-year retirement. Hanging out with the Fire Control guys was fun...access to the M2...

I feel your pain, man! I took the 996 up to Big Bear Saturday night...and I had to leave it in the heated garage* to ensure the tires wouldn't be too cold to drive back down the next morning.

*heated garage = well-insulated garage + poorly insulated water heater...

$4.50!!! When I filled up the P-car when it came back in October from F6I I think it was $3.03 for Shell V-Power+ and I assume the $600k house is a shack or a fixer upper. I guess there are advantages to living on the frozen plains. We don't have emission testing...and no smog either.

I just put $75 of “cheap” gas into the Grand Cherokee. Didn’t fill it up - debit pre-auth of $75 no longer sufficient to buy a full tank of gas.

Haven’t had this problem since I dumped the X5...but the range is nice.
