That and a lot of COVID. Every number except vaccinations is going through the roof there.

It's swamp ass in Jersey as far as weather here too. Makes you want to drive realllly fast to get the air moving.

I'm taking an extra suitcase so I can bring back plenty of meth.

I'd be bringing back a suitcase of vinegar sauce.

I'll have to give the BBQ another try - I've always been partial to Texas-style sauce, but when in Rome...

If you like vinegar on BBQ go for it. I prefer KC style sauce which Texas sauce is a close second copy. Some places down there have the regular sauce for locals and a second for people who understand BBQ a little better. The youngest kid lives south of Winston Salem and has been perfecting his smoked meats for a decade or so. He has to make his own sauce down there...

Well, Hoovie’s Garage filmed an episode at The Underground on Friday. I was stuck in the office, so no chance to drive over there to meet Tyler. But still, a good day for the auto museum! I’ll let you guys know when they release the episode.

While my opinion of Hoover doesn't matter that is good pub. for the facility. The pic shows some nice cars.

Yeah, he may be the world's worst automotive journalist, . . .

The Underground is shaping up to be a very nice place. We have well over 100 cars down there now, plus a collection of restored vintage Kansas City neon that the local neon preservation museum displays at our place, plus a kickass custom entry gate made by a local hotrod fabricator, plus several murals done by a local automotive artist who is nationally known. By contrast, I was in The Vault at the Petersen 3 weeks ago. As you know, we have a great relationship with The Petersen, and when we were working on the layout for The Underground, The Petersen staff said that The Underground itself will be nicer than The Vault. On purpose, they don't do any decorating or have any reader boards or other adornment in The Vault. It's just a parking garage with an incredible collection of cars. Our cars can't match theirs, but comparing the facility itself, I believe The Underground is nicer. And we have room for 450 cars, so once we get the place filled with 400+ cars, at least the variety of cars will rival The Vault's as The Vault is much smaller (250 cars). So, stay tuned for what The Underground will be in about 2 years.
