I wrote into the lease that in addition to the rent, he owes me two cases of craft beer per month. Got my first rent payment today.

Well, I'm looking forward to my February San Diego trip a little more now.

My then 15 yr old son and me picking up his first car in Kalamazoo. Pic taken at the Gilmore Museum. Fly-out, drive-home with a family member is the best way to pick up a Porsche.

BTW, he now works for VW Group of America doing future product development. His office is about 5 minutes from gnat's house.

That’s a great story! And beautiful car. Ran into 16 year old at our local cars and coffee event. And with all the high end sports car there, the kid dreamed of owning a 944. Go figure.

One of these days you will get it right. His office is about 2 miles from my office (that I haven't been to since before I met you) which is probably 5 minutes door to door with the lights and driving like I tend to. My house is 12 miles door to door from my office and is definitely more than 5 minutes which is at least part of the reason I drive like I do. His office is 2 miles beyond mine (1.5 actually since I'd take a slightly more direct (though not time warping) route.
