I don't really like where this is heading. It feels like...pending regret.

I think you threw in Hurdi for lack of another H word that fit.

I suppose it's fitting that since you had to spell it out to everyone back in 2016 that I now have to spell it out for you...
I guess nobody is thinking it's operator negligence? Someone will instigate this claim...Hurdi?

I was concentrating so hard on figuring out if I was the idiot or you were the idiot, I failed to realize it was actually both!

Slow clap for me.

More irony or did you dig up the original posts?

For the record, my lazy ass has still never replaced the switch and I never had more issues. Am I the only 996 owner with a factory installed ignition switch at this point?

Nah, your subtle typeface treatment finally clued me in.

As far as the switch - I have my fourth queued up on the "parts to install" bench as my HVAC has just started acting up again (this generally happens about a month before the key starts getting bound up in the ignition), and I have a fifth (spare) hanging on the parts wall. So fuck you.

Apparently, treating your paint like a baby treats a diaper extends the life of a 996 ignition switch...who knew?

I was referring to the part I quoted. You used the same statement when cluing the rest of us in back then.

I (finally) caught up with your thought process a couple of posts back - further explanation is not required in this instance.

I will resume stupiding shortly...you have been warned.

I have no idea what either of you two guys are talking about. About the only thing I gleaned from it was:

"Hey, rfo1, try swapping out the ignition switch. If it isn't going bad, you wasted $30 and it was going to go bad at some point anyways."
