My favorite character from the Sopranos. I was surprised when I heard an interview with him and he didn't have an Italian accent. He seemed so authentic.

well it wasn't today that was just the drive to work this evening.. now LAST week I put .. gasp 1000 miles on her travelling to GA and back, including a jaunt into the N GA mountains for a 100 miles back and forth up 129/29/19.

I even averaged nearly 24mpg on the hwy portions to and from Marietta where I stayed with my brother, but still saw over 20mpg on consecutive fill-ups cruising around Dahlonega, Blairsville, Neels Gap..etc in them thar hills.

My brother has a Jag XF sedan and we headed up together, it even rained a bit in the mountains but try as much as I could, even with the TC off I could not step the tail out. This car is amazing.

Lots of pictures I'll post later when I'm not on the hospital computer.

In rain with PSM off and you couldn't put the ass out???

You weren't really trying...

Please go learn how to do it safely on a skid pad before goofing off on public roads. With that lump in the back it can go from 8-) to  fast. These are much better in that regard that the older 911s, but they still have physics against you if you aren't careful.

I drove a rented Mitsu Outlander to Chicago and back over the weekend. But try as much as I could, it would not spirited driving.

No PSM on my car, just LSD..and no I wasn't trying THAT hard..just comparing it to my G35 on the Dragon last year that would step out predictably on every tight corner if you applied throttle judiciously. I really enjoyed the grip in the 911, and the sensation of just sinking further into the seat as she dug out of each turn with zero drama.

I'm running a fat tire setup at relatively low pressures (245/40/18 fr, 275/40/18 rear) and it grips pretty strong..also the Bilsteins are getting tired I think. I have a set of low mileage Koni adjustables to put on once I pick up some more parts. A little tighter rear damping will make things interesting.

I've got plenty of on track experience steering with the throttle, I hosted/competed in a drift series at the local speedway for nearly 10 years, with open tandem drifting, multi-car etc..admittedly not with the 911 though.
