Ok people, this upcoming season seems to be taking a favorable view of the 996. At the very least, it's nice to see the spread widen between nice and generic 996s.

Not that this means anything but when the latest 992 spy shot (the one of the back of the yellow car that's going around,) hit the 991 forum's spy pics thread, it quickly turned into a conversation about how the 996 is looking like a good deal nowadays and how it's actually a pretty damn good car despite "what everyone says."

50k-mile 40thAE goes for 39k on BaT. Probably the exception, but nice coupes seem firm in the 20s now. The Water-Cooled Weenies Club (WCWC) must be on recess.

Saw 2 996s on the commute this morning, a SG C4S (those hips!) and a C4 cab in silver. Whenever I see them in the wild I roll down windows to hear the m96. Even when you have one it doesn't get old listening to em purr as they pass.
