Apparently, just released in Europe. I would imagine once things get back on their feet, we'll have purchasing option in the US.

Well, you could Google "the big unit," but probably best not to.
Exactly! I'm one of the victims of googling Schnelly's "Pink Sock". Ugh. My mind is poisoned.

Hopefully that is priced better than the single DIN unit which is 2-3x the cost of an after market single DIN.

Since COVID-19, I'm now, as an instruction technology specialist/digital media producer, a "popular" person at UGA. 8-) But I'm having to work all my magic at home on low bandwidth lines. :( Yay me!

It's no mystery anymore, I'm selling my 996. I have a daughter going into college and the other turning 16, and so I made the tough decision to let her go. It all boils down to priorities.

I still want to stay in the Outpost family if y'all let me. And yes, I'll be back in another 996 someday soon, but for now, I must take care of my family. That means keeping us out of debt. I've poured a lot of money into that car over the last two years and hope the highest bidder appreciates it as much I have. Cheers brothas!

Oh, crap, I didn't realize you were selling it. Not a big deal as far as your participating here. It's not PCA - there's no requirement to show a VIN. Hell, how long ago did Kalash sell his car?

I know what you mean about putting family first. I'd love to be able to drive newer vehicles, but I've just got other priorities. That's why when I bought "new" vehicles for daily drivers for the wife and me back in November, my "new" Acadia was a 2014 model with 122,000 miles and the wife's was a 2015 Durango with 142,000 miles. But, hey, they look good, drive fine and I've already gotten them paid for in full.

I'm sure you'll miss it, but there will be another Porsche. I'll go check out your auction and give it some love. Looks like you're doing OK, though, with a $20,000 bid and a full day to go on the auction. And especially so with this Covid-19 crap going on.

As for the next one, remember that the search is half the fun. Don't be in a hurry. Frankly, I'd be really tempted to go with a Macan in a couple of years when there are more on the used market and the prices come down. Obviously I love the 996, but if I was looking again now, I don't think the 997, 991 or 992 really appeal that much to me. If I wanted a sports car, I'd probably be looking at a Cayman over one of the newer 911 versions. When the time comes, let me know if you want access to the dealer auctions and I'll get you set up.

Thanks man! I'll definitely keep that in mind. I appreciate all you guys. Can't say I miss Rennlist (dammit) too much. But I do go over there from time to time.

I think it's already been priced for European markets at $1700.00 euro? I'm not 100% on that and I don't know what that all includes.

What do you mean, that was actually super helpful. I've got a big unit showing up tomorrow night.
