When I was celebrating the new TechArt wheels in the Lake Mead Rec Area. Watching the color of the paint change as the sun sets was cool.

Goddang I miss living in San Diego! The Sunrise highway, Palamor Mountai, etc. The Midwest has the square root of jack shit compared to my beloved California roads.

You need to take a drive out to Holy Hill and around the Kettle Moraine area.....I'm sure no comparison to San Diego but there some decent roads in Wisco.

My dad actually lives out by Holy Hill, I grew up on those roads! There are some good ones, for sure, but over the years some have really degraded in terms of quality of pavement. I was on one road I used to race around on in my teenage years in an E30 BMW, and now it feels like driving on train tracks. There are some other great ones too, but after being spoiled with mile upon mile of driving awesomeness in SoCal nothing quite lives up.
