Probably would have been easier to install without the car on the lift arms.

I didn't read the instructions; I just made it look like the picture on the cover of the instructions.






I actually read the instructions; several times. Since we're on the topic...they're shitty. Anyone attempting to install one of their own: Drill the anchor holes before assembling the unit. If you assemble prior to drilling, the hydraulic fittings in the cylinder will block one of the holes. You will have to disassemble it. Because of the location of the fitting, it's easier to just remove the hydrualic cylinder than it is to remove the fittings. That was annoying.

Ok, confess to us how many times did you make the car go up/down with a big grin on your face to... erm... "test" the lift? Scientifically, of course.

I would've had to take off my socks to count that high.

So now you need a bunch of stuff, no? I'm thinking drain barrel for oil (with a big oil funnel?), a wheeled chair high enough to work, a engine jack and transmission jack? Anything else? That's going to be cool as hell.

I've got a detached, two car garage with pits in the cement bigger than a hippo. So, first step for me would be to see if I need to refloor the whole garage, or does the floor go down far enough that I can get away with patching and sealing. Love to do this though.

Replaced thermostat, WP, and expansion tank in addition to flushing coolant and new hoses.

I would've cussed a lot more if it weren't for this lift. Fuggen love this thing!

You're slab needs to be 4" min with 3000psi concrete. The lift does come with shims for unlevel floors.


Definitely need the fluid catch barrel and the jack. Spilled quiet a bit of coolant this weekend. lol

You have to support the engine and unbolt the cross beam supports to do the water pump. It was annoying having to bring the car down to support it while I swapped out the water pumps. The jack is something definitely on my list as well. Just need to find a place to store all this extra stuff
