To paraphrase: "So I washed the car and now it's smoking... so, what, rebuild?"

I love this community.

Car stalls while he's in line, he can't keep it idling, but he still takes it through the car wash? Must have been really dirty.

I have never had an issue with my engine in a car wash, but I stopped being lazy after the well-regarded wash down the street ripped my front license plate bracket off. Thank goodness it didn't damage the bumper.

One of the nice things about these cars are they are small, so washing doesn't take all that long. Even when using the foam cannon and appropriate soak/dwell times!
