Well you'll love the 997 if you do pick it up. My friend around the corner from me has one he just bought. Beautiful cars......What keeps me out of one though is that for the money you could pick up a 996 Turbo. As much as I love the 997 If I'm shelling out the money I'm going straight to a Turbo and rolling with it even if it has 6 digits scrolled across the odo. Thats just my I don't give a fuck coming out. I ain't scared-

Sorry to see an irresponsible set of drivers ruined your baby though- :|

Cuda911 wrote: Wed Aug 29, 2018 5:51 pm Thanks, all. Kalash, she almost hit me first, so she braked and turned to the right and stopped short of me by a few inches. The guy behind her, i think he was texting and hit her at a pretty good speed.
That scares the crap out of me. The law officials can prove phone use. I think people who cause accidents while texting, tweeting, face booking, etc...should be charged with some type of felony. Another thing that could be done is have the mobile phone programmers build in a non-defeatable system that anytime your going over 10 mph it won't access any internet type activities except for direction systems for those hopelessly lost. Of which would have to be programmed and turned on before exceeding 10 mph. Start there and see if it helps. I hear but don't have hard accurate numbers that distracted driving is the leading cause or fast growing cause of accidents and fatalities in vehicles. Heck I even see semi drivers flying down the interstate at 75+ doing something on an electronic device being held in one hand on the steering wheel. I know this is a Big Brother suggestion, but phone/internet use while driving is becoming pandemic. I can only imagine how bad it is in larger more urban areas.

Ok I'll step off my old man soap box now.
