Jokes aside, that actually seems like a pretty decent deal for an already configured-for-the-car kit.

I would be converting my buddy's 914 to an EV, except that I really want to turn it into an outlaw 914; stupidly, he wants to sell it before I hack it up. That's a problem.

914 have gained value. You should get your brother to reconsider and start a rebuild. It would for good brotherly fun too!

That's why he wants to sell it - blah blah appreciated value...sure, it will be worth a bit less after I ruin it, but what are friends for?
