Help! My 996 cab just broke down in an intersection

Post by krazyk86cu » Sat Sep 08, 2018 12:02 pm

What’s up guys? Long time no see! Haven’t checked in on Rennlist in forever. Been super busy with a new job, buying house, etc. Just figured I’d stop in and say hey. Went to Rennlist and got a PM from kcattorney about you guys succeeding haha. Anyways, far as I know my old 996 is still running somewhere up in NJ/NY. I’m still Porscheless unfortunately. I did end up having to sell my Mustang for something a little more practical. Hope everybody is doing well!

PS. New ride in case anybody is interested

A W E S O M E !!!! The Chevy ZL1 is one powerful, beautiful machine! I've owned two Camaros, but none as powerful as the latest ZL1. Sad, to hear you parted with the 996. I understand why you needed to say goodbye to it. I still think about your story from time to time. I really think your bad experience is an anomaly and hate it happened to you. Many 996 owners have experienced years of reliability in spite of what circulates on the forums. Any chance you know if the current owner got it back up and running again?

Cheers!

Yeah, the guy who bought it from me got it fixed up pretty quickly. I don’t remember what exactly he said was wrong with it, but he did get it running.

And man, this car is stupid fast. It’s bound to get me in trouble. I love it. Lol
