PICS??
You want pics of Schnelly impersonating a Grid Girl? Ewwwwwww....
Well...NO! I was referring to the below actually.:
Well, I survived Day 1 of Festival of Speed.
Two more days of track fun left!
However, now that you mention it, a "grid girl" pic of Herr 5chn3ll could come in handy as blackmail for any future 996Outpost raffles.
Never gonna make you cry...

That would require that the man has a shred of dignity. Years of knowing him suggests that is not the case...

I was afraid that would be an issue.

Schnelly, thx for the grid work!

Even so, you make for a crap Grid Girl stand-in.

Two more days of track fun left!
PICS??
Scary track, zero runoff, unless you consider a concrete wall to be runoff. 14-degree bank, at 130ish mph. All the tar makes the grip questionable at all times. Each lane was poured with a different mix, so each lane has different characteristics. Straddle two, and you can get screwed in a hurry. Some track walk pix between sessions:

Can't believe they still run NASCAR on a surface that looks like that! Must have been a pot hole where everyone was gathered staring down.

Thanks for the pics. Thanks for NO 5chn3ll pics as a grid girl!

That track layout looks like Schnelly had a hand in the design for 6-12...

Also, won the soiled shorts award. Some SOB driver I never saw before, in front of me... blocking, insane lines, shitty driving , crazy braking, etc. Finally , I went into the hot pits to be away from that ahole. So, come out aggressive, slightly exceeded my grip estimate, and was within 12" of the wall on the banked Roval for a very long distance.. calculating in my mind the velocity, slip rate , and track radius. Realized that Wall and Car trajectories intersected .
