Actually the mounts are pretty new (2ish years I think and maybe 3k). I think the mufflers aren't hung quite right which may be a result of an accident a long time ago.

My cars know not what a hose is. Rain is the natural car wash!

Now the part that Jake might not like. 100% of it's life has been outdoors. Proper warm up has been a new thing for it in the last 10k (80mph in 3rd was not uncommon when my 12mi commute only took 20 minutes  ). It is run in any weather except (like right now) when it is buried in snow. OCIs are more of a suggestion. And ... wait for it ... M1 almost it's entire 75k

Basically we are the worst possible owners by Porsche standards, but the thing just keeps running along like a tank

You got a Good one!
Oh yeah "regular" maintenance is a misnomer (the 6/60 was done at 12/60 ;)). It really has been a good one. In the first 16 years we spent maybe $8k on upkeep (not including gas, tires, and oil). Year 16 got pricey as we had to rebuild the transmission (2nd synchro) and did random other things (IMSB, AOS, water pump, etc..) while it was apart, but it's been cheap since too.

How good it has been for us really was the deciding factor in getting the P!g (which has also been great and cheap for 6 years now).

That would require me being a "good" Porsche owner

I know what needs to be done (buy a new clock spring or go the McGruber approach), so it's more of getting off my ass and doing it than anything else.

I dont have the figures in front of me, but maybe 7% of motorist under the age of 40 still know those. Half of them are guys that ride motorcylces.

True, but when I rode this was the most used after the one finger salute:
