Yep, Raby sent me a text. He's traveling at the moment with his daughter. The 4.0L is just being finished up and is built for a 996.2 setup.

Jake Raby has a fully reconstructed Stage One - 4.0L that was just finished and hasn't been spoken for yet. (I believe I actually saw it in the engine room during the last recordings)

I'm sure you'll want to cross the first bridge to see if your engine can be saved or not. But I'm pretty sure the 4.0L won't last long once it's publicly posted for sale.

Just let him know one way or the other.

Thanks, body parts are all I have to work with are kidneys for barter...Work has kept me from further investigation.
I will pull and open the filter before anything else. I needed an oil change and was waiting for this video to drop first. Glad I didn't flip this car to someone else...Stay tuned!

Thanks but we are dealing with hydro lock. I just got bank two all cleaned out. Now I need to clean the plenum and runners and get an AOS.
Hopefully I haven't bent a rod...Only drove about 4 minutes until I found a safe place to pull over and call my wife to bring my tow rope and truck.

Yea, I would wonder about the connecting rods as well as any stress on the crank and/or chains. Maybe the renn meister can chime in.

I received my SpeeDiagnostix report today via email. I have to go over the whole thing, but the only item of caution was for fuel dilution of the sample. The sample was a year old and had 2300 miles on it from the last change when engine work was done, so this was not really a surprise. The car gets driven, but it also sat for long periods - like 3 - 4 weeks - during this last crappy winter.

Silicone and manganese had X marks by them, too.

I may have someone that knows what they are looking at take a look. ;)

Try to resist the urge to freak out too badly once opinions start coming in, especially given that you're working from a single sample...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
