I'd much rather see someone hack the job on TV if it helps dispel some of the mysticism that sometimes clouds the minds of otherwise rational people.

Hand 1: Sure, yes, it's German, so you should use tools that measure with AT LEAST one decimal point.
Hand 2: It may be the case that failure to use that really-highly-regarded-shop is NOT the same thing as turning your car over to a horde of lobotomized chimps with Sawz-Alls.

There's a continuum for standard-of-care for all services in life; I don't see why you shouldn't have a similar choice array for your M96-servicin' needs.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

I don't watch it at all since Edd left. I cannot stomach that British toad that remains.

I don't watch the series - I've seen a few, but not enough to notice that the "new" host is a totally different guy. I preferred British barn finds, though.

Now Engine Masters, I'll watch that sh*t all night long.

Yea, I miss Edd China too. It seems like they spent more time repairing the cars with what little resources they had on hand instead of turning to vendors. But this is the first show I've watched with Ant and actually, it's pretty good. But they did leave quite a bit of details out of the IMS Solution install if you compare it to the shop manual that's included with the kit. That's TV for you!

It's the Media Mantra: Never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I'd take that IMSB refit happily over any work done by the "Gas Monkeys."

Somewhat related - Ant’s wife Cristina’s new show was on tonight. Ant was on the show some - they looked at a nice $4M house together. He drove her around in a nice looking ‘64 Mustang convertible. She is still hot...

She is hot, but I’ll bet higher maintenance than a vintage Ferrari.

Agreed, but higher maintenance than two vintage Ferrari's and a Lambo.

You are getting close if you add in a rusty Jaguar...
