Double Din + GT3 Center Console Delete

Post by sweet victory » Mon Jul 01, 2019 8:23 am

I've been lusting over the idea of a double din set up with a gt3 center console delete. The only challenge would be figuring out where to relocate the HVAC controls and where to put my cell phone (this topic probably deserves its own thread). Just wondering if anyone else has had the same idea, and wanted to share how they would deal with the HVAC controls.

Just find a way to secure the HVAC to the carpeted part of the delete kit below the dash. Or set your favorite temp, press the auto button, and stash it behind the carpet.

I have been contemplating mounting a RAM-mount base to the carpeted section so I can put the phone there.

I'm pretty happy with my current phone mount - I'll grab a photo tonight. Bonus: it has a built-in Qi charger, so it charges my phone whenever it's in the holder.
