Interesting! Even if I didn't have a reconstructed engine I would be fine with my car based on reading that article.
Yeah like so many other things around buying a 911, there is a lot of hysteria over the range values too.
I think it has a lot to do with the brand and that many of the inexperienced owners take'm to the track, blow'm up, and then report back on the forums about making the "money shift". Then that starts the convo churning. Before long, it's all over the place. Just look what KK did for Rennlist!

Update: My range 1 count increased dramatically over the weekend. Some sloppy pedal work accelerating downhill almost resulted in some new Range 2's as well, but I think I caught it.

*shrug*

Made it home...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Let's see some consistency first.

The Fisters plus the 200-cell cats make an effective deterrent when an assclown attempts to pass on the right with his window down.

My Range 1 count increased significantly this morning, but my blood pressure is epic right now.
