Post up here - or, if you're being especially cruel, shoot a PM - so we can start a conversation about how to move the site theme from the early 90's to the late 90's or early aughts.

I may be the only person here who isn't joking so I'll quote you so you see this - do you want the same specs (dimensions) for the header graphic that you currently have? Something bigger/smaller? All the above?

Do you want me to put together options for the light blue area / background?

If I set a deadline of end of January I could probably come up with a bunch of stuff that you can change out quarterly or whatever so that the site isn't so static.

It's 941x175. It was probably supposed to be 940x175 and I pooched the dimensions.

The blue colors are part of the site phpBB theme, which should be tweakable by messing with the styles. I left them blue because changing them would necessitate updating all of the smaller UI components that indicate which threads and posts are read, unread, etc.

Starting with something the same size would be a solid start. I'ma go check out the phpbb theme library and see if anything that sucks less has surfaced since I last went looking.
