PSM is not standard on all Mk2's. It was an option. I don't have PSM on my 2003 and have the joy of learning to catch throttle off over-steer in a rear engine 911.

Think that's connected to the radar detection system that *doesn't* work. :(

Thank you for clearing that up. Funny, from what I gather, you serious track drivers prefer to turn off all those "nannies". Am I correct?

If any of you guys have removed the rear seats and don't need this bolt and rubber cover, please let me know. Apparently, the previous owner removed both of mine in order for the sub-box to fit. Now the back seats won't lock in place. Ugh.

I know plenty of seriously fast and good drivers that keep the "nannies" on. I'd say that you will never learn proper car control skills without turning the nannies off. I'd also say that the Porsche nannies are really, really good. If you're serious, you need to learn car control and how to maximize the benefits of a rear engine layout - this is much easier to do without nannies.

I have never driven a car in anger that has nannies, I'm sure it has helped me progress. I know some folks who consider driving with the nannies on to be "lesser" but I think fun is fun and you should have fun. Life should be fun when possible.

looks like a good solid project! should be easy to touch up the gray interior bits(e-brake handle/console/etc)

looking forward to seeing some progress sooner than later! :D

Yea, touch up paint work should be too difficult. I'm at a quandary over painting the console back Graphic Grey or painting it to match the Black ext paint. Lot's of little odds and ends, but I'm trying to not get in a rush, especially when I spent all my money on the car. ha!
