If you or her like to drive, the hybrids are not going fulfill that feeling. They are mainly an A > B car.

I would recommend going diesel- MB, VW, BMW- if you want something more than A > B.

They are in CA. CA hates diesel :(

Otherwise, diesel Cayenne FTW! :D

Assuming I won't get a chance to post this tomorrow, as I'll be applying fire to a SHITLOAD of ribs:

Happy independence day! I hope those of you who are my compatriots spend it doing something that reminds you of the freedoms we enjoy and the road we've taken to get where we are today.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Congratulations Jay! Now, had you talked him into joining the Navy, chances are you would have him around for quite a few weekends.

Believe me we tried. He initially was going to sign a Navy contract for Crypto Linguist, but he wanted more excitement, playing with guns and jumping out of airplanes. He is a smart one, got a 96 on the ASVAB. Basicially he qualified fror ANY job in any branch. Also the Army will pay off his studant loans and he gets a $30k sigining bonus. The Navy was only a $35k bonus, no loan payoff.

We would have been a lot happier with a Sailor rather than a Soldier. It's his life, he has to do what he wants, and I know he will have a great one
With the army, he will most likely be stationed in the east so we are not going to see much of him.
