Pretty sure for the Porsche dealer (we did set the money aside for a year in the event they came to their senses). As far as VA goes, it's the government so who knows. If they ever do come after me I'm sure I'll have to go to court over it. While I'm happy to pay the correct amount and even some interest, I'm not willing to pay 20 years worth of compounding interest and penalties for their mistake and such cases almost always tack that on.
I contacted your local DMV for you, to get their take on this. YW. Please keep us posted.
So not only do you like to rub your good fortune in our faces, you don't want anyone else to have good fortune either.
Becoming a 991 owner has changed you Mike. Wow

Hi Cuda911, this is your insurance company, and, you're gonna laugh at this, but we actually owe you $3,000.
Hi Dr_Strangelove (whew!), this is your insurance company, and, you're gonna laugh at this, but we're raising your rate again.
Actually happened...
b3freak, this is your insurance company, and we need to reexamine your account associated with the 2002 Porsche Carrera. Please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we can confirm the current odometer reading and devise an accurate projection for how many miles the car will be driven in the next calendar year. We also need to confirm all drivers of this vehicle so that they are appropriately listed on the policy.
Translation - give us more legitimate reasons to up your premiums.

Huh, just got a call. The insurance company did some more calculatin', and is sending me another 3k for my 996. Lost track, but that should bring the total to about 38 to 40. I'm satisfied with that. Plus, my friend who bought the car has fixed it up and modded it out, so it's still terrorizing the streets of So Ca.
Kalash, that racing looks fun. Why does the car on the left often start so far over and at a funny angle? Is there a down'slope there to take advantage of?
You are now my official insurance adjuster-adjuster.

I learned my lesson on that some time ago. At least with Progressive and USAA if you simply don't return the calls they eventually leave you alone and the premiums don't change. After the second time falling for their "help us better serve you" BS only to see my rates go up I only talk to them if I've called
