That man was a veteran of the battles of Okinawa, Saipan and Tinian. If I ever get in bar fight, I want that dude on my side as he’s one tough SOB.
I saw a bit on him. Tough indeed. I liked his words while rolling out "I beat it!"

Hell yeah you did!

Had a great drive in my 996 last night. All was well until I woke up. (sniffle)

Took a drive of about 25 miles and ended up at a local restaurant for a quick take-out, curbside-pickup, breakfast. Just happened to encounter several of our local PCA chapter who apparently all got the same great idea at the same time!!

Social distancing car club style: spread the cars out [my 996 is far left], get out the lawn chairs and have breakfast while shouting at each other due to the @#$% social distance regs. I think Kansas is still in Gulag mode until we get a new governor. :(

This is beautiful! Took the cab out today for a nearly 200 mile drive with the wife. Ran into a classic muscle car group, saw a Ferrari and Aston, and got a wave from a 997 driver going the other way. I miss the PCA drives!

At the end of the day, drove it home in a (gasp!) light rain. Hey, it didn’t melt!

That may be my car in the top center next to the SY Cayman. And that may be Blrmkr’s GR 996tt in the foreground on the right.

Rolled past 98,000 miles on Saturday...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

My question is: did you hear any ticking during your drive? 8-)
