When I was at Sprint a few years ago, a co-worker showed up one day with a new Jeep Cherokee in that [almost] exact color. We asked what compelled him to buy it, and he explained that he got a fantastic deal on it because it had been setting on the dealer lot for almost a year - they couldn't sell it. [Imagine] So my penny-pinching former NYC co-worker felt that he had put one over on the local rubes. I think the dealer had a party that evening.
