I didn't do anything with my 996 today. However, I did get notification that my oil sample arrived at Blackstone. The suspense!!!!!

My report came back today, and while there was nothing I'm worried about, here's how the report read:OceanBlue2000 wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 11:57 am I didn't do anything with my 996 today. However, I did get notification that my oil sample arrived at Blackstone. The suspense!!!!!
"Michael: The last report looked fine..." (Heart explodes in my chest, stomach doing flippy flops)
"...this one looks a little better." (Heart back to normal rate, stomach settles down)
I think the good folks at Blackstone are bored and playing pranks. Whew.

Drove to the music store With my son to look a guitars. Of course I found something I “need”.
Got home to find a couple small oil spots on the garage floor.....just when I thought I had that sorted. Oh well, the Porsche ran great ( about a 2 hour round trip).

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
My 996 deposits one or two drops a month on the floor. Compared to the ongoing hemorrhage of every fluid on the Corvette side of the garage, that counts as "doesn't leak" in my book.

Had the UAOS that Skip (PTech3) designed put on. Pretty cool engineering. This latest version is pretty stout. My Indie was impressed. Never used Posi-Taps before. Found a 30 second YouTube on how-to. It took me 20 whole minutes to remove SAI and tap the wires and they look much better than a crappy splice job I would cobble together. I should never, ever have to replace another effing AOS!
