I believe they'll run the entire test again. I don't have to pay again - I just pay the certificate fee once it is finished.

$59 for the inspection, plus $8.25 for the certificate.

Cheap Chinese knock-off RaceDeck drainage tiles that I bought in 2008 on ebay. For what I paid for them (I think 88 cents per square foot back in 2008), they did OK. I'm looking forward to removing them and getting the floor coated. The problem I have is that they are under the 4 post lifts, so I can't clean under them very well.Battery Guy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 6:24 pmLooks great! What is the floor? That looks good too.FRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 9:12 pm All gussied up (on the outside) for the Kansas City All-German Car Show at The Underground first thing in the morning! How many... Competitors were in your class?FRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 2:39 pm So, of the 4 cars entered, which one brought home some hardware? Yup, the blue one, which has the longest "to do" list of the bunch, by far. But, I'm not complaining.

But, being a '70's car, I suppose it would be more fitting to have won a trophy from San Diego Region, you know, with its logo straight outta the same decade.
I suspect between 1and 5. What kind of class was it? Did you arrive the same way as Richard Hammond did for Alfa concourse D'Elegance?

Every two years and it doesn't appear to be working. While I know there are other factors in air quality what does San Diego look like today? If drumpf would do something about HIS forests burning down and you guys sent the excess population somewhere else you could have better air too.
Never gonna make you cry...
Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
The state has been on fire for a month...that's probably jacking up air quality.
Emissions control has definitely made a difference - I remember what it looked like when we moved out here from PA back in the 70's...the air in the L.A. basin was nasty back in the day. Still dislike CARB...

Yeah CARB was certainly needed and their rules did a very demonstrable amount of good, but like all government organizations that get too much power they lost their head along the way.5chn3ll wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 8:51 am The state has been on fire for a month...that's probably jacking up air quality.

That's an awesome video. When I first got my 928 back in 2014, it was leaking very noticeably from the waterpump as I pulled into the show. I was waiting on parts for the TB/WP job, but I entered it anyway.
This year, I got stuck working the PCA booth setup and never got a chance to detail either the 914 or the 928 this time. As for the class, it had 7 cars in it. There were 2 other 914s, both of which were in significantly better condition (and were actually clean) - one yellow and one green. But I think people just really like the color. That's the only explanation.
