Due to the pandemic, the Porsche club decided to push back to a month later in the year. So, the museum curator decided to put together a monthly display made up of cars owned by member of the museum's board of directors. The curator initially asked me to provide my 996TT for the display, but I told him that I feel like the X1/9 is a much more interesting car. I see a lot of 911 Turbos on the street and at car shows, but rarely do you run across an X1/9. Although they made a lot of X1/9s, X1/9s have become pretty rare.
So, here are some photos I took this morning after putting it on display and cleaning it up a bit. Enjoy!

The X1-9 looks perfectly at home in that environment and it adds a nice splash of color. Hard to remember that it was once flat black!
Never gonna make you cry...

It does look nice Frunk. The stitching on the seats really comes out nice in those shots too.

Thanks, Billy. I am ofthe mindset that the matte black paint job was a Kalash-special-DIY job.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 4:49 am The X1-9 looks perfectly at home in that environment and it adds a nice splash of color. Hard to remember that it was once flat black!

Thanks. And I've got Doc Strangelove to thank for the final seat design that omitted the piping. I'm really glad I went that way as it would have been way too much.

Sometimes there is a fine line between nice and gaudy. You chose wisely.

Which given his rather stunted color palette in the realm of cars is pretty damn surprising!32wildbilly wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 8:16 am Sometimes there is a fine line between nice and gaudy. You chose wisely.

Hot chicken! The two rivals in town are Hattie B's and Prince's. My favorite was Prince's. Neither will disappoint. Have fun in Nashville - I really liked the city a lot.
Thank you for the recommendations!
