The emblems on the wheel center caps do not align properly with the valve stems. A clear "red flag" that this is a dodgy amateur build, best avoided.

When I first looked at the spoiler, I thought maybe he'd engineered a Bugatti-type braking feature into the Frankenporsche...but the geometry says it's just a bit of extra turd.

I'm going with alternate-reality Batmobile - but in this reality, Bruce Wayne is struggling to fit in part-time at H and R Block; thus, the styling and performance characteristics are somewhat limited. Oh, and Alfred is both blind and psychotic. And Robin wears dumb hats.

Hope I'm not offending anyone but this is why I don't get all the hype about SEMA. At best those cars are ugly, at worst they are unusable as cars. I saw an ad for a car from a "SEMA builder" where it noted at the end of the ad that the tires were rubbing the gigantic wheel flares they had put on. Awesome, sign me up for tires every 500 miles.

And now we have this, which some folks admire as a "creative" take on a perfectly good car. I am assuming a top no longer fits on it, which makes the question of how you get in and out of the thing moot. From the fake brake scoops to the gigantic Red Baron Plane wing, this piece of garbage has it all, including much worse performance from all the added weight, if he kept the same motor and it isn't some LS1 twin turbo crap rocket that no longer talks to the dash. JFC, look at the windshield. And the splitter! I need a Tylenol.

Also, get off my lawn!

I think it's a safe bit that no one that ever thought they had a snowball's chance in hell of getting a SEMA invite built that ... thing ...

I agree I've seen bizarrely stupid stuff from SEMA, but even they have some standards.

Any guesses on whether that "spoiler" is genuinely active?

My initial thought was, if it wasn't active then why put a strut on it, but then I realized its not like this guy made any other logical choices, so why the hell not. There's something you can't see that could be a motor, but who knows.

I just like that wherever else a Porsche badge properly goes, it ain't on the side of that wing, not at that size.

I was thinking maybe it was a linear actuator - but how much more rake could you possibly need on that wing?

It's possible that it's actually the roof, and it doubles as a wing when in the retracted position. :geek:
