Sorry I was distracted by Outback Jack. Although such a hat is invaluable during summertime AutoX.

You've gotta go. I get to see the T-Birds all the time and they're amazing. Angels are next level.

The last family members (a nephew, his wife, and their baby) leave today...and my wife's Cookie Baking Weekend 2021 will be relegated to the history books.
Thank God.

Whenever I buy lemonade from some kid's roadside stand, it gets dumped into the first bush around the next corner. Are you a better man than I am, or did you shitcan that thing?

It probably took more than one cup of coffee to get all that sugar down. Was it GOOD???

I go every time they are here. The Angels are the BEST. Period...Nice thing is one or two days before the shows they do practice runs. I spend a lot of time in the yard on those days just listening to the rumble. Never fails to bring chills.
I've seen the T-Birds a few times. Once at USAFA when my brother graduated. We were on the west end of the parade ground at the east chapel wall. I swear they were lower than the wall as they came across the assembled cadets/graduates! It was awesome and more than just a little scary. I was 17 and admit to this day that I ducked as they went over at full burn.

This is what I do: I tell the kid/kids I can't drink/eat whatever they are hawking and drop an appropriate amount of US currency in their grimy little hands and walk off.
