Had this sitting on my desk Monday morning courtesy of the 6 year old daughter of one of the other attorneys:

is that a schnelly voodoo doll?
It does remind one of something that shows up in a Google search of one of Schnelly’s posts.

Billy let this serve as a contract that if you move to Henderson I'll buy a Type R and we will start a gang. No need to worry about gangs when you're tha' gang!

I was all set to pooh-pooh this "atmospheric river" event - but the two floating cars we've spotted near our offices today kind of made me change my mind.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Sounds like you guys got hit pretty good today. Hopefully, Eastlake escaped unscathed.

It was brutal. Had to put on a long-sleeved shirt.

Don't think anyone would notice or care if Eastlake washed away.

Because it isn’t Escondido?

Anyone else get sideswiped by Amazon crapping the bed this morning? My phone exploded at 7AM... my EC2 instances in the US-west-2a availability zone (and everyone else's instances) became unreachable from my colo.

On the plus side: Today the lesson was underscored that Amazon is not a utility...and that my all needs more try/catch wrapped around anything attempting Amazon connections.

Ok so you need to keep your crap weather out in your own state and quit sending it east!

93mph wind gust in Lincoln this afternoon with torrential rain for about 15 minutes. 3 more mphs and that would have been the wind speed of a cat2 hurricane. This after a high temp of 73 which dropped to 58 in those 15 minutes.

This is mid December not April. Wonder what could possibly be causing such weird weather...hhhmmm...I wonder.
