Assuming the numerous inches of snow has melted off of it. On the Hassy does the wife actually let you touch that thing?

Well I found this yesterday https://www.jacksonbohm.com/read/design ... trait-lens and I was not chased out of the house when I suggested it. I also woke up this morning with all my parts still attached.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 10:21 am Assuming the numerous inches of snow has melted off of it. There's a company called Lensbaby that makes cheap plastic lenses that are essentially sold to create a distorted effect in a can vs. using post production to achieve it.
Honestly not a bad project, I'm sure once you start playing with different distortions and effects you could start messing with prisms and all that cool jazz.

The upside is that I had not yet paid the $69 for the windshield when I broke it. When we arrived there I said to my buddy "I will probably get the damm thing out and trip putting it into your car" so I had low expectations.
The downside is that I have to front the $7500 to get 15 new windshields air freighted from Holland.

SurplusShed has stupid cheap lenses. No way it will be Hassy quality of course, but for <$30 some fun could certainly be had.Dr_Strangelove (whew!) wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 10:32 am There's a company called Lensbaby that makes cheap plastic lenses that are essentially sold to create a distorted effect in a can vs. using post production to achieve it.

I think it's time to start hanging out in front of theprf's joint with an air rifle.
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Oh please no, I don't need anymore broken windshields.
The order is finalized, except their credit card processor can't seem to charge my card.
