Heh. It's worth watching the 2G1C reaction videos on YouTube...let me see if I can find the Kermit version.

It's actually news to me that figure skaters need steroids. I "understand" strength sports and endurance sports but ice dancing is a new one for me.

The alleged drug wasn't a steroid but rather a drug intended for treating angina which artificially increases blood flow to the heart. It supposedly improves endurance and speeds recovery time.

The thought of steriod-laden skaters brings to mind putting MMA fighters on the ice...which, interestingly, could be far more entertaining to watch.
