Got a message that someone spotted best-selling author, occasional Gitmo AirBNB guest, and internationally-renowned automotive fashion consultant John Ireland driving a Triumph TR6 at our local Athens Cars and Coffee event last weekend. (see picture) I missed this one, but wonder what he talked about? Thoughts?

Or the solid "clunk" of the TR6's door as it closes.

RE: the gay stuff - I got more than my fair share when I drove a 986. You can either get worked up about it or have fun with it. Personally, I think I looked FABULOUS driving the Boxster in my Liz Taylor shades and contrasting scarf.

So my friend who some of you met was visiting me in AZ... And he got this as a rental. He didn't know what miata was, and didn't understand why I told him that we can't be seen rising in this car anywhere. He thought car looked like James Bond car..... I clarified it for him.
To finish off his visit to AZ...Joe got himself a speeding ticket in a Miata, 48mph in 35mph zone with top down. What is the word I am looking for here???

I hope he was dressed appropriately. Bummer we missed him, but I'm sure an e-book to fill us in on everything we missed will be forthcoming.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

"What is the word I am looking for here?"

Tailwind
Gravity
Nitrous

Any one of those will do.

Since you're his legal council while in Az., I'm thinking that you should strongly suggest that he pleads not guilty. There's no way a Miata hit 48 without going Thelma and Louise off a cliff. After all, it's a Miata, not something fast like a 2CV or an Isetta! All judges know that.
