Regular unleaded is back down to just over $5 a gallon at Costco. Joy.

I almost filled up the Grand Cherokee for just $100 this morning.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

I'm firmly in both camps "fuel price is annoying" and "I happily made the bed I sleep in."

Insurance renewal time for the "collector cars". I upped the 280Z value to $15k, which might not be enough? Closest comp I can find is:
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1978- ... 80z-117-2/
My car is little more original - I have original paint as far as I can tell - not quite as good condition because 45 year old enamel paint is old and chips easily. A buddy with a 240Z suggests 20k minimum. The 240Z is a much more desirable car despite not being as good as the 280Z.
I upped the beat up 996 Turbo to 40k. Anyone's guess here. Tiptronic with 180K miles but all new high-end suspension and soon a manual gearbox swap.

You consider buying another house just for the tires. Or something like this:

Today is probably a lousy day to order a pizza for delivery.
