Ok so today the speed was 46.5/4.7 and I initiated a chat with Windstream. She "looked" and after 4-5 minutes said she would forward it to a specialist for a deeper look. I asked her to please tell me the specialist wouldn't just bump me up until the person complains. She denied. She would not address my questions about bandwidth over subscribing. Once off the chat the speed was 235/237...yeah right...not bandwidth.

Thanks for the prior information.

Used to be that this was the great advantage of fiber providers over cable as cable bandwidth went to shit when everyone got home and turned on their TVs. Now the fiber providers are running into the same issues as well.

The issue could be your local POP is over sub'd or it could be the entire service. If it's a smaller ISP they'll usually monkey with port configs to improve customers that complain, but that is to the determent of others and you'll lose your priority when another customer bitches. The bigger ISPs (FiOS) don't even bother and just blame your config

What is that? I though it was an F4U Corsair, but it doesn't have the fold up wings.
Looks like an F6F Hellcat to me.

Maybe but the fuselage doesn't look fat enough for a Hellcat and it doesn't appear to have the 1/4 moon shaped inlet below the engine either.

...but what do I know.

I think it's an F2F "Tatertot"

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.
