Be honest, it was mice wasn't it?

That sucks man. Glad you're ok. Got my own "too young for this shit" stuff going on, but no where near as serious.

I found myself falling into Vintage racing with a couple Triumph Spitfires and having a blast up until 8 weeks ago this coming Monday. I had surprise 4x bypass surgery on my ticker and I feel great except for the feeling that I'm "tied" together. Walking 3 - 5 miles a day. A few words of wisdom.....LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! That said I still have the Raby 997 4.0L but haven't driven it much. Thoughts have entered my head of selling it but I talk myself off the ledge every time :) Hope y'all are good!
Pete - Good to hear from you! Sorry to hear about the quadruple bypass. I had a catheter ablation 10 years ago, when I was 48. I kept thinking the same thing - I'm too young to be here. But, think of it this way, they caught it and fixed you. So, now you're good to go for a long time!

Good to hear from you Pete and better to hear you're recovering from your surgery. Very scary and hope you find some good Porsche therapy before it's too cold out.

I don't think I knew you had a-fib too.. I was 41 for mine (actually done on my birthday) and yeah heart surgery of any type at any age is too young.

I am VERY glad none of you old farts are newly dead.

Heh. That's a lot of smack coming from a fat 52-year-old.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Fun fact: one of the tracks on the (home-made cassette) release of my old 90's band was titled "Spock is Cool."
