Four months of recovery will go by in the blink of an eye when you look back at it a year from now.

I've admired Hartech and their attitude of scientifically evaluating the motors and sharing their information through papers. You've got a good partner IMHO. Also, full admiration for realizing your dream and then chasing it!!!

Meanwhile, I need a cat. Mine aged out as of a few years ago and the dogs don't chase the gophers. Rather than mini streams on the hill I have a major underground river through the gopher tunnels. Why does this matter, you may ask. One of the sets of block steps I installed were being undermined so it was time to trench the river to the surface and redirect it. I came back inside muddy and Pam insured my clothes went directly into the wash. Really, I'm not off topic here. Bear with me. Previous to getting the yard tools out I gathered up all my car keys to open them and check for water leakage. Yes, those keys were in my pocket. Yes, those keys went through the wash. The AMG key is fine. The F250 key is fine. The 997 key now wants to automatically roll the windows down despite how often I roll them up. What? Are those rain clouds I see??? I need a cat.

Sorry if that was a double post. This phone interface has compromises. If previous post is doubled can a mod get rid of one of them? Thanks.

Edit ... Mods have been messaged.

I've heard plenty of "bad taste" over Jake's personality, but I don't think I've ever read a complaint about his shop's actual work.
I had $45k in an engine that made 50hp by the time it was all said and done. I had to swear to not post what happened or he refused to fix it. I’ve talked to others that were told the same thing. I’m over being sore about it, I just wanted a better alternative for my builds and thought others might feel the same. Plus the opportunity to apprentice under Baz was too good to pass up.

Our shop is in OKC but we also have a garage at Eagles Canyon for testing and development.

He's done a lot for our cars, I just had the solution installed last summer, but I never dug the "woe is me" stuff. Sorry to hear about your engine. Good luck with the new venture!

For the record, I encouraged Slakker to post because that's how I roll.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.
