Thanks for the kind words, guys. I appreciate it. Yes, B3, I had the lower rockers done when it was in the shop.
And... the car still isn't right. It still has to go back again. The frunk doesn't open when you hit the switch. No noise from the front. Nothing. Meanwhile, I'm just going to drive the wheels off the thing and enjoy it until I take it in for the third time

Aww...really? You've gone through hell trying get this car back right, haven't ya? Sorry to hear that man.Flat6BlahBlah wrote: ↑Wed Apr 25, 2018 12:12 pm Thanks for the kind words, guys. I appreciate it. Yes, B3, I had the lower rockers done when it was in the shop.

Word to the wise... since you can't access your frunk, be mindful to *not* let the battery go dead for any reason. That could be insult to injury! And, you may want to locate the manual hood release cable just in case of a flat tire. More than likely, it's pointing towards a fault with the actuator. (See item#19 in pic) The part# is 99651112700. However, before taking it to the shop, you may want to check the fuses first. Since the shop was dealing with the front end of your car, there's a slight chance the shorted the line going to the actuator thus blowing the fuse. I'm not 100% sure which fuse is assigned to the actuator, but you may want to start checking the central locking fuses.
Cheers!
