Will hit Monza on Monday. Dacia Sandero is getting it's workout with me...again. Caribineri* waved me down twice to slow down 😂.

The Dacia Sandero -- an understated Romanian performance vehicle putting Italian marques to shame. James May approves!
Proud owner of a Flat6-powered 2002 996 Cab, 2016 GT4, 2019 Ford F-150 "Country Cadillac", and 2005 Ford Focus (not so hot hatch) daily driver. And a Wright ZTO 52" to keep several acres of grass-like substance neat and tidy!

If Sandero could be sold in US, it would be a hit. The Dacia in question is last year of previous body style Sandero Stepway in top trim (2020). 0.9l.turbo with 90 hp, gets 55mpg and is huge inside. Actually fun to drive, and I got to over 170kph on Autobahn in it. All for around 14,500 CHF out of the door three years ago. Very good car for what you get, I recommend it to my mom as a new car that wouldn't require much care or inspections in Switzerland, she is thrilled with it. Had for three years now, car is flawless.

I've driven a transit van on the Autobahn @ 170KPH... it works.

Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Alfa Museum and Monza. Monza car rental was closed, so no driving about. That's Fangio statue.

Not a political statement. Just a headline you don't see every day regardless of political party involved.

In early July, I was backing out of the garage and caught the tip of my passenger mirror on the garage door track. Busted the glass, wrecked the plastic housing.

$50 later, eBay supplied a mirror that was in better shape than the one I destroyed. In less than a week.

Maybe I'll bust out one last DIY for removing/replacing the sideview mirror...

This is the exact occurence that keeps me up at night! "Am I far enough over...too far over...or just right...Jeebus!"(gets out of car to check if positioned properly before walking out of the garage).

Paranoia is a bitch!

@kalashnikov Freaking gorgeous man. You're giving me a bad trip itch. We are going on a family outing to San Diego soon but man I want to do something that requires a passport sooner than later.
