PeePeeEye at moment of impact
"FOR WHAT!?!?!?"
Serious glad you're all ok and not in the car (most of you.) What is going on in this world. Being the dude that stops is why I hang out with you fellers. Stand up guys the lot of you. I'm sure you'd do it again.
Big question: what replaces the Jeep?

I understand some dude on this forum deals in gently used Macans...he's an EXPERT, or so we're told...
Proud owner of a Flat6-powered 2002 996 Cab, 2016 GT4, 2019 Ford F-150 "Country Cadillac", and 2005 Ford Focus (not so hot hatch) daily driver. And a Wright ZTO 52" to keep several acres of grass-like substance neat and tidy!

Sorry, Frunky will have to find another victim. Er, client. The Grand Cherokee took the hit like a champ - the front bumper cover, some of the substructure, and some other odds and ends are the only OBVIOUS victims. One of my Rough Country tow hooks is bent, so I'll have to replace that.
I pulled the bumper cover back out of the wheel well and we drove 100+ miles back home. The alignment isn't even off.
We'll see what the body shop comes back with once that process is rolling...there are always surprises once the sheet metal comes off.

Wait a minute...didn't the former Jeep get smacked too? I seem to remember a drone pic with a clearly damaged rear door.5chn3ll wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 4:16 pm Sorry, Frunky will have to find another victim. Er, client. Ready for a "holy shit, time's really flying" moment? The last Jeep got hit in December of 2017.
