The illustration makes it a little clearer, but I still can visualize a 16 year old kid who did some sports being completely immobilized and suffocated by the seat. Him using Siri to dial the phone in his pants tells me his hands were also tied.

Jesus. That looks like a shitty way to die.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

From what Dr. Strange post, it looks possible. You would have your entire body weight pushing down on that mechanism, and with the pivot, the clam shell would have a mechanical leverage over you. 1 in a bajillion chances of this happening. Damn.

Hey gnat, looks like the guy who bought my '99 C4 aerokit just put it up for sale.

https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d ... 13335.html

He owns an insurance agency. He had it for a little over 3 years and put 17,000 miles on it. Not bad. Asking $16,500. I sold it to him for $15,750. Looks to still be in good shape. He was a decent guy, so I suspect he took good care of it.

Ooohh... That tip is worth thinking about forgiving you. I won't, but it's worth thinking about.

Tempting. Very tempting. Could be one each for the boys when they start driving...

Ugh. Bad timing though :( Thinking about a new house (with a garage this time) and getting the current 996 restored and maybe a bit of North GA love...

My property inspections are pretty thorough, and do involve a lot of staring at the ground. I put any money I find into a box and periodically donate it to a charity. Have donated well over $1,000. Here's the current box contents:

That gives the new meaning to Phase I and environmental screen. I take it if you have an open LUST site on the property and you mysteriously find the Benjamin there.... You still include it in your report.
